Action against Medical Accidents: AVMA is a national charity, which provides independent advice and support to anyone who has been the victim of a Medical Accident. This includes Medical and Legal advice on the available options for a complaint.

Asian Women’s Centre: Gives help and support to Asian women who are experiencing or have experienced domestic violence.

Bangladesh Welfare Association: Provides advice about immigration, education, racial and domestic violence, employment, housing, DSS benefits, money matters, liaison with local police.

Hounslow Muslim Women's Association: Provides education in mother tongue (Urdu) to the children from 5 to 18, advice service in different matters like domestic violence, benefits, interpretation. The Monitoring Group: Advice, information and support to victims of racial harassment and domestic violence.

Mosac: is a voluntary organisation supporting all non abusing parents and carers whose children have been sexually abused, to provide support, advice, information and counselling following the discovery of sexual abuse.

London Black Women's Project: Specialises in working with women suffering domestic violence. They also provide a wide range of confidential advice and support services for Asian women including counselling in English and Mother Tongue languages. Rape Crisis Centre:24-hour counselling, medical and legal help for victims. Information on court and medical procedures. Will accompany victim to court.

Refuge: Provides advice and help for women experiencing domestic violence. Refuge's Asian Services team runs a specialist South Asian women's project offering a bi-lingual service.

Roadpeace: A national charity for road traffic victims providing a helpline for emotional support and practical help and information. Also put people in touch with local groups and bereavement counselling. In addition we campaign on traffic issues.

SAMM (Support After Murder and Manslaughter): Offers understanding and support to families and friends who have been bereaved as a result of murder or manslaughter through the mutual support of others who have suffered a similar tragedy.

Self-Harm Support Group: The support group provides a safe and confidential environment for individuals to share experiences. They do not judge or have expectations of a person's self-harm.

Suzy Lamplugh Trust: Raise awareness of the importance of personal safety and to provide solutions that effect change in order to help people to avoid violence and aggression and live safer, more confident lives.

Terrence Higgins Trust: Offers emotional support and information by phone, help with accessing HIV testing and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) treatment advice about your rights in benefits, employment, immigration and housing ,treatment advice, contact with support groups etc. Lighthouse East London is a new project offering services at various locations in Barking, Dagenham and Havering.

The Helen Bamber Foundation: Charity that specialises in helping those that have had their human rights violated.
