London Taxicard Scheme

 The scheme allows London residents with a mobility impairment which prevents them from using buses or trains to travel in the contractors’ licensed radio taxis – black cabs or private hire vehicles - at subsidised rates.

You qualify if you receive the higher rate mobility component of Disability Living Allowance, are registered blind or receive a war pensioners mobility supplement. You may also qualify if your doctor confirms that you have a permanent disability.
