Diabetes UK -  Information desk at West Middlesex Hospital - on Tuesday Mornings, running an on-going programme of educational, social meetings for local diabetics and those with an interest in diabetes, operating a help line and assisting local children with diabetes to attend special holidays.

Diabetes Service (Hounslow) :  The Diabetes Service in Hounslow provides the following services for adults with type 2 diabetes, and some with type 1 diabetes:

bullet Diabetes Group Education Programmes (“X-Pert”) – (including programmes in South Asian languages
bullet Consultant and GP-led clinics
bullet A domicillary service (DSN) for housebound patients
bullet Training and education of healthcare professionals, including  community nurses, GPs and primary care staff.

Diabetes Service (Richmond)Specialist teams, based at Teddington Memorial Hospital can provide specialist care for cases that are too complex to be dealt with by their GP practice but not complex enough to warrant hospital admission.
